The study presents Ibn Abi Al- Rabee 's efforts in the area of linguistics.

He is the great grammarian, interpreter, and is considered the pioneer of his age ( 688 Hijri).

He was one among many who added an extensive and unique contribution to the area of linguistics.

Moreover, he dealt with multiple issues and discussed many linguistic and semantic controversies that are scattered in different resources as well.

The study presents the introduction, and that followed by three parts, with its final conclusions.

The first part illustrates the linguist'life, Ibn Abi Al-Rabee, Allah peace and blessings be on him as well as his famous scientific traces.

While the second part illustrates his major efforts in the area of linguistics, the third part concentrates on the study of the semantics analysis for Ibn Abi Al Rabee.
