الملخص EN

This study aimed to search the relationship between the cyberbullying and its relationship to social skills in private university students in Amman and its relation according to gender, academic year (first year, second year…) and the faculty.

the study population consists of all students who attended the science colleges and the humanitarian colleges in al-Zaytoonah university during the first semester (2019-2020) whereas the sample included (400) students, who were selected by a simple random sampling method.

for achieving the study goals and answering its inquiries, they have developed two measures detecting cyberbullying and the social skills using the descriptive method that depend on collecting data information and study the phenomenon as it is reality and detecting the relation between the study variable to recognize the connection between these variable and expressing them numerally.

the study result showed what follows: level of cyberbullying among private university students in Amman governorate came low degree.

level of social skills among private university students in Amman governorate came at medium level.

the presence of difference in level of cyberbullying among private university students in Amman governorate attributes to gender and in favor of the males.

and attributes to the faculty and in favor of the scientific faculties.

and the presence of no difference in level of cyberbullying among private university students in Amman governorate attributes to academic year.

the presence of difference in level of social skills among private university students in Amman governorate attributes to the faculty, and the difference was in favor of the humanitarian faculties.

and the presence of no difference in level of social skills among private university students in Amman governorate attributes to gender and academic year.

the presence of a correlation at significance level (α<0.05) between cyberbullying and social skills among private university students in Amman governorate.

and according to study results and what has been achieved the researchers recommend to conduct more studies about social skills and cyberbullying within new variable and sample.
