Many articles have been written on coexistence to address the problem of conflicts and the causes of such conflicts, such as the difference in identity, lack of acceptance, hatred, and aversion to the other, which led to the destruction of the humanity and devastation of the land rather than enliven it.

These writings focused on the importance of coexistence and the necessity of accepting the other who is different religiously, culturally or ethnically, to prevent clashes and conflicts that may leads to the loss of lives.

On the other hand, the bloom and expansion of social media resulted in appearing those who believe that; one of the most important components of coexistence is not focusing on the differences, but in order to maintain coexistence in a society, assimilation is inevitable.

The research discusses the value of coexistence in multiple-identities societies such as multiple- ethnicities, multiple-cultures and multiple-religions, and the importance of coexistence in those societies that are rich in pluralism, while preserving identity.

The paper also addressed the definition of coexistence and identity.

The reason for shedding light on this subject is two things, the first: technical progress, one of the results of which was the cultural openness that the world is witnessing today, which facilitated communication and meeting with other cultures.
