Despite the efforts made by the public authorities to develop the SME sector, it is clear that the latter is experiencing worrying stagnation in terms of size, business expansion or mission expansion.
a situation that challenged us to try to better understand the determinants of the growth of SMEs through an empirical study conducted on a sample of 72 private SMEs the Wilaya of Bejaia.
the analysis is based on an econometric application.
the results of our study show that variables relating to the characteristics of entrepreneurs are those that best explain the growth of the SMEs studied.
the characteristics relating to companies, come in second position.
the competitive environment seems to play a less important role.
الملخص FRE
En dépit des efforts fournis par les pouvoirs publics visant le développement du secteur de la PME, force est de constater que ce dernier connait un immobilisme inquiétant en terme de taille, d'expansion métier ou d'expansion mission.
une situation qui nous a interpellés pour tenter de mieux comprendre les déterminants de la croissance des PME à travers une étude empirique menée sur un échantillon de 72 PME privées localisées dans la wilaya de Bejaia.
l'analyse s'appuie sur une application économétrique.
les résultats de notre étude montrent que des variables relatives aux caractéristiques des entrepreneurs sont celles qui expliquent plus la croissance des PME objet d'étude.
les caractéristiques relatives à entreprises, viennent en deuxième position.
en fin l'environnement concurrentiel semble jouer un rôle moins important.
