الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aimed to measure the impact of the determinants of the tourism sector on sustainable development in Jordan during the period ( 1988-2018 ), where after the necessary tests were taken for the first model, a positive relationship was found between tourism spending, tourism revenue and GDP per capita in the long term and the short term, and the presence of a positive relationship between the workforce in tourism and the gross domestic product of the individual in the long run.

As for the second model, the results have shown a positive relationship between the per capita GDP and the unemployment rate in the long and short terms, and that the relationship between Tourism spending and the unemployment rate were negative in the long term but positive in the short term, and the relationship between tourism revenue and the unemployment rate is negative in the long and short terms, as there was a negative relationship between the workforce in the tourism sector and the unemployment rate in the long term.

This study came out with recommendations that emphasize the need to pay more attention to domestic tourism as it is a complement for outbound tourism, and some other recommendations.
