The aim of this study is to know the extent to which gratitude at work contributes to the development of professional skills among the administrators of higher education institutions.

To collect the data, we applied Morgan's Gratitude at Work Scale and the Professional Skills Scale (designed by us) to a sample of 280 administrators in four institutions of higher education located at the level of Algiers.

The results showed that the average degree of gratitude at work among these administrators is high, and that they have high professional skills.

The results also showed a statistically significant correlation between the gratitude at work and the professional skills.

We also found that the gratitude at work affect professional skills.

Therefore; gratitude at work contributes to the development of professional skills among the administrators of education institutions.

L'objectif de cette étude est de savoir dans quelle mesure la gratitude contribue au développement des compétences professionnelles chez les administrateurs des établissements d'enseignement supérieur.

Pour collecter les données, nous avons appliqué l'Échelle de Gratitude au Travail de Morgan et l'Échelle de Compétences Professionnelles (conçue par nous) à un échantillon de 280 administrateurs dans quatre établissements d'enseignement supérieur situés au niveau d'Alger.

Les résultats ont montré que le degré moyen de gratitude au travail chez ces administrateurs est très élevé, et ils possèdent également des compétences professionnelles élevées.

Les résultats ont montré aussi qu'il existe une corrélation statistiquement significative entre la gratitude au travail et les compétences professionnelles chez ces administrateurs.

Nous avons également constaté que la gratitude au travail affecte les compétences professionnelles.

Et donc; la gratitude au travail contribue au développement des compétences professionnelles chez les administrateurs des établissements d'enseignement.
