It is obvious that alimony due to marriage or kinship includes: food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and all that is considered essential in the custom.

After divorce, the limits of this alimony do not appear because they are originally linked to the children under guard, and are not linked to the divorced women for lack of the alimony status.

The present study aims to know the point of view of the Islamic jurists, what the legislator stipulated, the position of custom, and the jurisprudence on the alimony related to the child delivery of the divorced woman.

Several results have been achieved in the present paper, the most important of which are: A divorced mother does not lose her right to alimony if she is pregnant, and her maintenance continues until the childbirth.

Even if the marital component fails, maintenance is proven to the divorced mother as a right to her son on one hand, and as a right to herself as a nursing mother on the other hand
