The movement of translation, transfer and Arabization that took place in the Islamic east since the Umayyad era and appeared in the Abbasid era in the third and fourth centuries ah / ninth and tenth century ad.

effective influence on the scientific movement during the periods of prosperity of Islamic civilization in general, and on experimental sciences in particular; it brought many meanings and concepts to the Arab-Islamic culture, and opened up new cultural and scientific horizons for it that it had not had before, in addition to the urgent social need.

in addition, this civilizational scientific project allowed Muslim scholars to interact with the scientific heritage of pre-Islamic civilizations and see the scientific outputs of their scholars.

the pollination of their thoughts, the blasphemy of their instincts, the awakening of their talents, the stimulation of impulses of curiosity, the desire to better understand and explain natural phenomena.

the translation movement has placed in the hands of Muslim scholars the scholarly texts which represent the material of criticism they have regarding the heritage of previous nations.

therefore, the burgeoning translation movement was an important impetus and elements of the scientific renaissance of Muslims, especially in the experimental sciences.

without it, the scholars of Islamic civilization would not have been able to define their scientific role in the history of science.
