The aim of the study is to develop a conceptual linguistic approach, to some of theconcepts of science, which can be described as the science of text.

This field ismanifested in the linguistics in the early 1970s.

This field is considered new for thewestern world.

Arabs started to study it and they considered it a new science worthyto be studied.

Ancient Arab classifications lack a separate theory on its own accordingto the understanding given by the western textual studies.

The choice has been made to one of the Western compilations that dealt with thisscience “the text and context: semantic and pragmatic discourse: an investigation ofdiscourse by Van Dyke.

The study will help us make an approach with the Arabicthinking- Arab texts and how the two concepts are close.
