The feedstuff industry is an important manufacturing industry aimed at using high-value raw materials (grains - vegetable oils) and converting and forming them into another more suitable image for livestock.

It is an important economic activity that plays an important role in animal production no matter how genetically good the animal is to produce and able to resist diseases and epidemics in nutrition as if they are scientific foundations then the animal cannot give good production.

The feedstuff industry is a technical industry that must cover the full food needs in the form of balanced ration feed materials as they work to develop the livestock sector and this sector (ruminants, poultry, fish) contributes an effective contribution to the service of humanity by providing main feedstuffs like (meat and milk) and obtaining their by-products (wool and leather).

The feed industry relies on imported raw materials like (corn, soybeans, feed additives).

So, the development of this industry is linked to the provision of these raw materials, especially since Erbil lacks soybean cultivation as well as lack of forage additives, most of the plants in the study area do not rely on local maize as a raw material but on imported ones from outside Iraq.

So, the research dealt with the geographical distribution and concentration of the feedstuff industry and the factors affecting its habitat and geographical distribution, the number of plants, the number of workers, the amount of production, and the value of production, as well as the use of statistical analysis according to Moran's program in analyzing the spatial correlation pattern of distribution of factory sites and their variables (feed plant area, number of workers, production capacity, date of establishing the factory, and the investor's money).
