The current research seeks to identify poverty rates and their impact on the emigration of Iraqi youth abroad.

In order to achieve the goal of the current research, the researcher followed the steps of the descriptive survey approach by defining the research community and its sample, which represented (300) individuals who fall within the poverty plan within a set of variables In order for the researcher to collect data related to the research objectives, a questionnaire was prepared to measure the impact of poverty rates on the migration of Iraqi youth abroad and extracted for them a set of necessary statistical characteristics, and after applying the tool to the research sample, the current research reached: 1.

The emigration of Iraqi youth in recent years came due to the high rates of poverty, which are still on a steady rise.2.

Poverty is a clear reflection of the prevailing political corruption in the country at the present time.

The rise of political corruption in its various forms deepens the phenomenon of poverty in the country.3.

There is a clear weakness on the part of the state in supporting the poor class of young people by providing salaries for monthly subsidies or providing them with alternative temporary job opportunities.4.

It is expected that the persistence of poverty for this group will lead to the spread of crime and violence as a reflection of the psychological pressure experienced by this group.5.
