Protecting patients from mistakes made by medical professionals requires that there be a responsibility on the doctors as a result of committing these medical failures to ensure patient care.

On the other hand, it is necessary to provide the necessary protection as well for medical practitioners, to provide them with protection, and to ensure sufficient confidence and security for them, because if they feel threatened, they cannot carry out their work.

Among these responsibilities is the criminal responsibility of medical professionals, and because of the importance of this topic, our research came in two sections, the first of which is to discuss the concept of criminal responsibility for medical professionals, and the second is to discuss the crimes of medical professionals and the penalties imposed on them, and then a conclusion that includes the most important results and recommendations that we have reached.
