Despite recognizing the right to privacy, it is difficult to find a comprehensive and conclusive definition of it in jurisprudence and the judiciary, as it is based on an idea that changes with the change of time and place, in addition to the difference in people's customs, traditions and morals, in addition to the development of life in all respects, whether social, economic, technological or Cultural, or political, and despite the agreement on some important elements that directly affect private life, the dispute remained over others.

Accordingly, the focus in this research will be on the elements that jurisprudence differed about including them within the scope of the right to privacy, with a statement of the position of each of the French, Egyptian and Iraqi legislators, with a statement of the guarantees that he put in place to protect this right.
