This research is concerned with clarifying the critical position on the biographic poem from the critical perspective of Dr.

Hatem Al-Sakr by identifying its models presented in his critical writings.

The "narrative poem" of the biography fell into two parts according to the topics it dealt with.

The first part addresses a biographical poem, and the second part approaches a poem of the objective biography, and both of them included poetic styles or techniques such as mirrors and the false face.

Despite different poetic type this poem represented, it remained on the edge of criticism and its margins.

Nevertheless, it received the attention of some Western critics, such as: Michel Leiris and in the Arab world, Dr.

Khaled Shukri Hayas, This type of poem does not give the reader the opportunity to get acquainted with an autobiography.

The content was not full of the higher goal, which is the realization of poetry in what is a subjective narrative; As for the objective narrative, it represented a poetic pattern based on the principle of consolidating the narrative impulse in the poetic body, and perhaps the most prominent patterns of objective narrative poems are: the long poem, the factual historical poem, the story poem.
