الملخص الإنجليزي

The purpose of this study is to identifye the criteria for choosing football managers for the clubs that exisits in Al-Manaseer football league.

Moreover, identifying the relationship between these criteria and the achievement through these variables (Managerial title, educational qualification and experience).

The researcher follows descriptive approach due to its compatibility to the study nature and objectives, gouestinare were built and distributed for data collection.

The study participant consisted of (123) individuals, with a total of ( 12 ) heads and (111) members, who were chosen intentionally from the Jordanian football federation records for the season (2018/2019).

The questionnaires that consisted of ( 39 ) items distributed to six subscales (technical, social, personal, psychological, economic, and media ).

The study showed that the level of the criteria for choosing football managers in Al-Manaseer football league was medium where the personality subscale ranked first and considered the most important subscale for choosing the football manager.

However, the media subscale ranked last and considered the less important variable in choosing the football manager.

While the technical subscale ranked second, then the economic subscale psychological subscale and social subscale.

Moreover, this research results showed that there is a relationship between choosing the football managers and achievement based scientific criteria in Al- Manaseer football league.

However, the results revealed that there are no statistically significant differences at (a≤ 0.05) between the mean standards for choosing the technical managers for Al-Manaseer football league regarding to years of experience, administration title and educational qualification, except for the media subscale which showed statistically significant differences for the variable of educational qualification.

The researcher recommended doing more efforts form the higher committes in the clubs that exisit in al manaseer football ligue and suggest developing special committees that follow scientific baises and specific standards when choosing the football managers to lead their teams.
