This research deals with the study of an Islamic personality, namely, Imam Taqi al-Din Ibn al-Salah, who is of Kurdish origins from the town of Shahrazur.

During the great number of his elders, his students, the praise of the scholars for him, and his writings abounded, and it will continue to do so until God (the Exalted is He) passed away in the city of Damascus.

Among his important books is (Explaining Al-Waseet problem), in which he outlines his jurisprudential opinions and choices that are distinguished from the choices of other scholars.

The importance of the topic is evidenced by its choices of issues related to menstruation and postpartum and its effect on purity.

Three issues fall under this heading: The First Issue: the ruling on a menstruating woman whose blood has exceeded her period? The scholars differed on this issue to two views: Ibn As-Salah chose from it that it is due to habit and not to distinguish the color of blood.

The Second Issue: the ruling on enjoying a menstruating woman during her period? There are four different sayings concerning which Ibn al-Salah chose from which it is permissible to enjoy everything except the vagina and the rectum.

The Third Issue: the ruling on purity that is between the blood of postpartum? There are three different sayings about it: Ibn Al-Salah chose from it that the purity between the bleeding of postpartum is not considered a separation between the two bloods, so it is the blood of nifaas.
