الملخص الإنجليزي

The study aimed to investigate the impact of leadership styles on organizational agility in the private hospitals in Jordan.

The comprehensive survey method was used where the researcher selected general managers, their deputies, directors of departments and heads of departments, the number of items of the sampling and analysis were ( 300 ) unit, in the target study population the researcher developed a questionnaire to measure the study variables of leadership styles as an independent variable and organizational agility as a dependent variable.

The study found a statistically significant effect of transformational leadership in organizational agility, and no statistically significant effect of transactional leadership in organizational agility.

Jordanian private hospitals using various means and methods, such as the exploitation of technological capabilities, responding to changes in the external work environment, the ability to exploit opportunities, speed and flexibility in addition to maintaining the styles of transformational leadership in private hospitals This approach is encouraged by its positive effects, such as the ease of communication between management and followers, the ability to predict what might happen, and its tolerance for the risks resulting from development.
