الملخص الإنجليزي

This study deals with the Nabataean temple located in the town of Qasr to the north of the city of AL_ Karak، which has been studied from two aspects : archaeological and architectural.

In The archaeological aspect، has focused on the history of this temple and its effects through sources and references related to its subject، and the archaeological field works on the site which include archaeological surveys and excavations،conductedat the site In the architectural aspect، the study deals with the elements and architectural and artistic aspects related to the temple of the town of Qasr regarding to the external shape of the temple، the internal subdivisions which contain squares، rooms and towers; and drawing modern geometrical designs for the site.

The study also reviews the water system in the temple which contains channels، wells and reservoirs.

In addition، the study includes a system of comparison with some other Nabataean temples.

The study concludes that the temple of the town of Qasr is a building with a religious function، not a palace as it was called by some scholars، because of the availability and integration of all the architectural elements within this temple، which are similar to many other Nabataean temples.
