الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of using reading and arithmetic-( RAMP )-methodologies in processing the weakness of reading and writing and its impact on academic achievement from the Perspective of the first three grades teachers in the southern AL-Mazar schools.

The study was used two methods quasi experimental and descriptive, the sample of the study consisted of ( 125 ) teachers and ( 67 ) third-grade students were divided into two groups experimental ( 34 ) and control ( 33 ).

In order to achieve the study goals, a questionnaire and achievement test were developed and its validity and reliability were verified.

The results showed that The effectiveness degree of using reading and arithmetic( RAMP )methodologies in processing the weakness of reading and writing and its impact on academic achievement from the Perspective of the first three grades teachers was middle and also there were a statistically significant differences between the means performance of two groups: experimental and control group due to the use of the RAMP methodologies in processing the weakness in reading and writing' and the differences were in favor of the experimental group.

In the light of the study results the researcher introduces number of recommendations and the most important was to conduct further studies on the ( RAMP ) methodologies for reading and arithmetic due to lack of studies on this strategy and for other classes such as the first and second grades and in other education directorates to get benefit from the results of the present study.
