الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aimed at investigating one feature of dispense in Arabic language ; dispensing the abstract verb by the augmented one.

Arab people used some verb forms added with one, two or three letters which have no abstract forms with the same meaning.

Those augmented forms were mentioned in the books of syntax and morphology within the meanings of the verb from structures under the meaning of dispensing the abstract verb, or dispensing it.

Those verbs were observed from the linguistic resources and Arabic lexicons as well as interpretation books in order to identify their linguistic meaning.

I also demonstrated the relationship between added letters and the intended meaning.

The study concluded that the Arab derived from the silent linguistic material (the root), or from the noun or the verbs that express their meanings.

it is not necessary to have an abstract verb for each augmented verb and that dispending the abstract verb is a theoretical idea based on linguists' perception related to augmented and abstract forms.

The existence of some of those verbs in the books of Arabic language is an important indicator that advocates the idea implying that it is not necessary that each augmented verb has an abstract verb that holds the same meaning.
