الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aimed to recognise the role of the principals of public schools in promoting volunteer work culture in the governorate of Jahra in Kuwait from the assistants’ principals’ view.

The study society consisted of ( 224 ) assistants principals, who were selected in a comprehensive survey on the study community.

To achieve the study aims, a questionnaire has been developed and verified by the researcher which consisted of ( 32 ) items and has been divided into three dimensions.

The study has carried out the following results: In Jahra governorate, the role of the public school’s principals in promoting volunteer work culture was modest.

In contrast, the health dimension came on the first level as a priority.

Following this, the environmental dimension came on the second level while the social dimension came on the third level.

furthermore, in terms of gender, the study conducted that there were statistically significant differences in favor of females.

In addition, the study proved that there were statistically crucial differences in the variable of scientific qualification for bachelor students.

Moreover, the result found that there were statistically essential differences in the experience variable in favor of higher experience ( 10 years and more ).

Consequently, the study recommended that it is necessarily to care about introducing volunteer programs and activities to the school’s directors which are held by domestic educational area and put private budget for volunteer works.

Thus, enrich the programs of the faculties of education in ways that promote the culture of volunteerism in different educational stages.
