الملخص الإنجليزي

The objective of this study was to know the impact of the asset structure on the profitability of the industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange for the period (2007-2016).

The study used the method of the lower standard squares (OLS) and descriptive statistical measures to show the effect of the asset structure on the profitability of the industrial companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange.

The study found that there is a positive effect between the current assets and the return on sales, as for there is a positive effect between current assets and return on equity.

On the other hand, there is a negative effect between fixed assets and return on sales, as for there is a negative effect between fixed assets and return on equity.

It also shows that there is no statistically significant effect between long term investments and return on sales, as for there is no statistically significant effect between long term investments and return on equity.
