Technology transfer has become over time a priority in the overall strategy of developing countries, which do not have sufficient capacities for autonomous development and are significantly behind in technology.
In this perspective, foreign direct investments seem to be for these countries one of the means of stimulating growth and of benefiting from “transfer of technology and know-how”.
As part of this research work, we have focused on the role of foreign direct investments in the mechanism of technology transfer adapted and controllable in the Algerian environment.
To do this, we have diagnosed the reality of the climate of direct investments foreigners in Algeria by an evaluation of the Algerian experience in this perspective.
This study concluded that the business environment in Algeria has experienced a significant delay, which negatively affects FDI, which is an important factor in technology transfer.

Le transfert technologique est devenu avec l’ère du temps une priorité de la stratégie globale des pays en voie du développent, qui ne dispose pas de capacités suffisantes pour un développement autonome et connus un retard significatif en matière technologique.
Dans cette perspective les investissements directs étrangers (IDE) semblent être pour ces pays l’un des moyens de stimuler la croissance et de bénéficier de « transfert de technologie et de savoir-faire ».
Dans le cadre de ce travail de recherche, nous avons mis le point sur le rôle des IDE dans le mécanisme du transfert technologique adapté et maitrisable dans l’environnement algérien.
Pour ce faire, nous avons diagnostiqué la réalité du climat des IDE en Algérie par une évaluation de l’expérience algérienne dans cette perspective.
Cette étude a conclu que l’environnement des affaires en Algérie connu un retard notable, ce qui affecte négativement les IDE, qui est un facteur important de transfert technologique
