Usury has not a unified form.

As there are forms that documented, some have the usury cause and its reality.

Others are considered a means and a cause that lead to it.

Among these which are prohibited by the legislator -Allah- from the majority of jurists' perspective is bai` al-`ianh.

So, they extensively explained it and elicited its reasons.

Moreover, al-`ianh in terms of sale is what jurists discussed and clarified.

However, the notion of al-`ianh regarding leasing is a current incident that has taken place recently and expands for different reasons.

Thus, the current study entitled “al-`ianh of leasing- a jurisprudential study” stems from that notion.

The study answers the following question: Does al-`ianh applied in leasing-contract as it does in contract of sale according to the majority of jurists? The study concluded that al-`ianh is applied in leasing as it occurs in sale so that it is forbidden
