Summary: The study aims to analyze agricultural development indicators in the Samarra district, and to determine the extent of progress towards achieving sustainable agricultural development goals.

The results show that the Samarra district achieved remarkable progress in economic indicators, as the value of agricultural production increased year after year, which led to an increase in the growth rate of real agricultural output, per capita agricultural output, and productivity of the agricultural worker.

On the other hand, public investments directed to agriculture decreased, and the study recommends preserving and developing water and land resources and increasing the efficiency of their use, as well as directing more investments to the agricultural sector.
