The study aimed to know the effectiveness of the phoneme method on raising the level of recitation among eighth grade female students in the Sultanate of Oman.

The researcher used the quasi-experimental design.

The study sample consisted of (40) students.

It was divided into two groups: the first is experimental and its members are (20) and the second is a Control group and its number of its members is (20) female students from the eighth grade students in the Sultanate of Oman.

They were chosen conveniently because they had difficulty reciting and had low grades The researcher used an oral test and a note card in order to measure the skill level of recitation while reciting Surat Al-Taghabun.

The study reached the superiority of the experimental group in the level of intonation skills during recitation of Surat Al-Taghabun compared to the performance of the control group.

The results of the study recommended the necessity of using the audio clips strategy as a method for teaching recitation as well as establishing female students to recite the Holy Quran.
