This research comes to stand upon a vital aspect of the history of the economic relations of the Ottoman state with the European countries, especially the state of Germany, which played a major role in strengthening its influence within the Ottoman state and protecting and developing its economy and keeping it away from European influence, which was positively reflected on the German-Ottoman economic relations.

The German capitalization began to find its way towards the Ottoman Empire, until it contributed to the development of the commercial aspects, and the means of land transport between them may have represented a manifestation of this rapprochement until the railways obtained their abundant share of this economic rapprochement between the two sides during the study period, and due to the lack of an Independent academic study concerned with all the diaspora of this topic and covering those vital aspects of the economic history of the Ottoman state, so I was keen to choose the topic and carry out this task, so the research came under the title (Summary of the Economics of Land Transport between German and Ottoman States (1871-1914) Railroads as a Model.

After collecting the material, I divided the research it into three sections preceded by the introduction and ending with the conclusion.

In the first section, I dealt with the Ottoman European privileges duration of the study, and in the second section, Berlin-Baghdad railway project (1908-1900).

As for the third chapter, I devoted it to writing about the Hejaz Railway project ( 1900-1908).

I hope that I have succeeded in drawing a brief picture of an important historical period between the history of the Ottoman Empire with Germany.
