The provisions of the holding company in the Iraqi legislation are among the important topics that were required by necessity and the practical reality because of their importance, and in view of the Iraqi legislator establishing a legal system for this type of company, the holding company is a model for managing the company or subsidiaries, as it controls a company or a group of Subsidiaries that practice the same activity, and the holding company has importance as a legal means whose existence entails commercial legal relations that need to be regulated.

For this reason, we discussed the topic in an introduction that included the importance of the topic and its goal, and then we divided the study into two sections.

In it we explained the legal system of the holding company, and we concluded our study with a conclusion that included the most important conclusions and suggestions that we reached.
