This research aims to explore the prophetic methods in correcting concepts.

In fact, its importance lies in the consequences of determining the correct and praised ijtihad.

Also, it takes into consideration the methodology of disciplined mind’s implementation in understanding and correctly deriving Sharia’h rules from the holy Quran and Sunnah.

Moreover, the prophetic methodology is the most applicable and convenient for following based on which correcting of misconceptions would be more adequate and correct.

The purpose of this research is to determine the reasons of misconceptions and explore the features of the prophet’s methodologies in correcting concepts through analytical study of the prophetic honorable hadiths.

Also, it aims to proving that prophet has fulfilled his mission of guiding people towards the true religion, and correcting the wrongdoers in the fullest and most complete manner, further, to prove the relevance of his methodology for all times and its effectiveness in the first generation with typical examples from prophet’s companions› lives.

This study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology by extrapolating the hadiths of the two most authentic books of hadith (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) related to correcting concepts, and studying them analytically, and extracting the prophet methodology from them.

The result of research presented the true meaning of correcting concepts and determined four reasons behind misconceptions.

Moreover, it concluded that there are eight features of prophetic methodology in correcting concepts and showed the effects of prophetic methods in correcting misconceptions and its effectiveness.
