الملخص الإنجليزي

The study aims to Accordingly, this research sought to monitor the nature and reality of the main indicators of good governance in Iraq and the extent of their compatibility with the mechanisms of governance established by international institutions.

Thus, the research presents good governance as a means to achieve the well-being of citizens, through the interaction and interdependence of its basic components that enhance the mechanisms of governance.

The analysis of the indicators related to governance in Iraq indicates that Iraq suffers from the ence of good governance due to the interaction of a set of internal and external determinants that accompanied the construction of governance structures in Iraq, which harmed the state and distanced it from the rational foundations that countries are working to achieve.
