الملخص الإنجليزي

This paper titled as "The Decline of the American Hegemony : A model of Measuring Power" measures as well as analyses the national power throughout adopting a quantitative and comprehensive model.

This study distinguishes six dimensions, namely, the geopolitics strength, economic strength, military strength, technological strength, the foreign policy, nationalism and the soft power of the three great powers : The United States, Russia and China.

Comprehensive Power is one of the main factors that motivates the global hegemony, which will help the researcher drawn conclusions concerning the new international order after giving interpretations of the answers for the questions.

Changes, which affected the structure of the international order after the rise of great powers and the decline of the American hegemony after the events of 11 September, have ended the unipolar system of the international order, which in turn constitutes the central debate in international relations theories in order to decide whether it is multipolar of a world in disarray.

Finally, the study concluded that the superiority of the United States is declining due to the rise of the Russian military power, the expansion of its political influence, and the rise of China as a global economic, military and technological power.

This in turn has affected the American hegemony and its role concerning some Regional and international crises negatively.

These forces are taking confident steps comparing with the power of the United States, which represent a challenge for the American power and hegemony, alongside with the spread of terrorism in all over the world, and the increasing danger of the rising regional powers of Iran and North Korea.
