Hybrid education is a type of education that combines the traditional method of face-to-face education, and education via the internet according to the requirements of the educational situation, allowing students at the university to receive knowledge and information and perform tasks under the supervision of the university and the professor of the subject.

the current research aimed to stand on the aspects of change imposed by the repercussions of the corona pandemic on the educational process in Egyptian universities, and the aspects of non-change that prevent the application of hybrid education to confront this pandemic, and to identify the theoretical foundations of hybrid education in the contemporary educational literature, it monitors the efforts made to implement hybrid education in Egyptian universities in light of the spread of the corona pandemic, and analyzes the experience of the university of Luxembourg in the field of hybrid education, in addition to developing a proposed perspective for the application of hybrid education in Egyptian universities in the light of the experience of the university of Luxembourg, in line with the conditions of Egyptian society.

the research included seven sections as follows : section one : the general framework of the research, section two : analysis of the research problem, section three : hybrid education in contemporary educational literature, section four : hybrid education in the Arab republic of Egypt, section five : hybrid education at the university of Luxembourg.

section vi : research results, section vii : a proposed perspective for the application of hybrid education in Egyptian universities in the light of the experience of the university of Luxembourg.

among the most important findings of the research : that there are efforts made to implement hybrid education in Egyptian universities, despite that, the current reality indicated a set of obstacles encountered in applying hybrid education in Egyptian universities, where it was found that there are obstacles related to professors that make them refuse to modernize, and the existence of obstacles related to infrastructure represented in : the small number of laboratories available at the university, the lack of computer equipment, and the weakness of the internet within the university, as it was clear the interest of the university of Luxembourg in e-learning, and its interest in providing the infrastructure to support hybrid education in its institutions, and the diversity of the objectives of hybrid education at the university, and its keenness to plan for the implementation of hybrid education.
