الملخص EN

The history of social responsibility has resulted in paying attention to the needs and desires of the society as a whole .This research is distinguished from other researched by taking some social standards from In banks in Jordan for (Zakat, interest-free loans and donations) on the profitability of Islamic banks, measured by return on assets and return on equity.

Among the motives that contributed to the emergence of social responsibility are Globalization, Government pressures, Environmental Disasters), in addition to the main principles of Islam which are: Faith, Balance, Generalization and Inclusiveness.

The study summarized the existence of a significant statistical impact between the social responsibility and the profitability of the Islamic banks of ( interest -free loan and donations).

The study also underlined the importance of paying attention to the principles and standards of social responsibility in Islamic banks.
