There have been many European trips to the Arabian Peninsula, most of which were funded by the travellers' governments for informational and exploratory purposes; they are distinguished by accurate description and observation.

They were involved in recording their observations about what they had seen in the Arabian Peninsula, so European trips were considered a sound historical source, and travel books presented a huge wealth of knowledge as a mixture of anthropology, history, geography, politics, and biography The Hail region in the north of the Arabian Peninsula was visited by travelers who paid great care to the area in their writings, given the political importance it had, and the geographical location that is central to several regions.

Throughout ages, it has established commercial stations for its occurrence in the way of caravans of pilgrimage and trade between Iraq and Hijaz.

The region was visited by seven European travelers in the second half of the thirteenth century AH (nineteenth century AD).

These travellers paid attention to the region in their writings, and provided a lot of information about it in their books and reports.

Because the social and economic aspects did not receive adequate attention from researchers, which contribute to revealing some facts and analyzing their events scientifically, I chose the title of this study as thus.
