The study aimed to identify the degree of practice by secondary school principals in Palestine’s southern governorates of scenario planning and its relationship to crisis management.

To achieve the study aims, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and designed two questionnaires, the first aimed to measure the degree of scenario planning practice and consisted of (30) items distributed to three areas.

The second questionnaire, which consisted of (40) distributed in four areas, aimed to measure the crisis level.

The comprehensive survey method was applied to the study population, which included (147) male and female school principals, of whom a study sample of (129) principals were selected for the purposes of the study.

The most important results of the study are as follows : 1- The degree of practice of high school principals in Palestine’s southern governorates of scenario planning was large, with a relative weight of (79.60%).

2- There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the average estimates of the study sample members’ scenario planning attributable to the gender, educational qualification, and years of service variables except for the field of scenario planning as there are differences in favor of those who have served 10 years or more.

3- The level of crisis management among high school principals in the southern governorates of Palestine has reached a relative weight of (79.80%), and with a great estimate degree.

4- There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the average estimates of the study sample members’ level of crisis management among the study sample members due to the variables of educational qualification, years of service, and gender except for the field of leadership skills, where there are differences in favor of female principals.

5- The presence of a strong positive correlation at the level of statistical significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the averages of estimates of the study sample’s degree of practice of scenario planning and their level of crisis management.

The most important recommendations are the following : 1.

The need to enhance the culture of scenario planning among all school principals in Palestine’s southern governorates.

2.

The necessity for the Ministry of Education to conduct training courses for managers in the field of crisis management.
