This study examines the problem of convenience between the organization's strategy and its organizational structure, which can appear in the form of a relationship between organizational variables and the organization's surroundings, by looking at the concept of organizational structure and defining its dimensions, as well as the concept of strategy and defining its axes.

The study examined the analysis of this relationship from the literature review related to the topic to confirm the interactive and reciprocal relationship between strategy and organizational structure in order to achieve the goals of the organization.

This study was conducted on the managers of the upper and middle levels in the public commercial banks in Benghazi, The researchers distributed 112 questionnaires to all members of the population, and the data was analyzed using the SPSS statistical packages for social sciences program.

The study reached several results, the most important of which is that the organizational structures of the banks under study need to be redesigned from time to time, in order to be able to keep pace with the continuous environmental changes, and that there is a positive relationship between the organizational structures and the strategies used in the public commercial banks under study.

In addition, the results of the study have shown that the public commercial banks are adopting strategic thinking and putting it into practice while they conduct their business and activities.
