Although a new negotiation process was launched in January 2021 be- tween Ankara and Athens, the anti-Turkish statements issued by some ministers in the Greek government witnessed a remarkable rise, especially after the outbreak of the Ukrainian-Russian war.

These statements aimed atportraying Tiirkiye as an aggressive country that seeks to change the status quo.

Essentially, Greece seeks to attribute these allegations to Turkish statements and practices, particularly those relating to issues in the Aegean.

By addressing the aforementioned allegations within a legalframework, it becomes clear that Tiirkiye’s statements and actions have not changed for years, and that Ankara’s statements andpractices ،،؛،٢ clearly based on legal ground.
