Abstract: This study aimed to identify the level of psychological resilience of secondary school principals in the city of Derna from the teachers' point of view, and to identify the level of availability of change management competencies among school principals from the teachers' point of view, and to identify the nature of the relationship between psychological resilience and the availability of change management competencies.

As well as identifying the possibility of predicting the availability of change management competencies through psychological flexibility.

The sample of the study in which the descriptive approach was used consisted of teachers of public secondary schools in the city of Derna, who numbered (112) teachers, including (44) teachers, and (68) A teacher, and for the purposes of data collection, the Psychological Resilience Scale was used by Connor and Davidson (Connor & Davidson, 2003), the codification of Muhammad Muhammad al-Sayyid al- Qulali (2016), and the change management competency questionnaire prepared by Majid Saeed Muhammad al- Ghamdi (2016).

Psychological flexibility was at a high degree, as well as the degree of the extent of the abundance of change management competencies was high.

It also showed the existence of a direct correlation between the variables of psychological resilience and the availability of change management competencies.

The availability of change management competencies for secondary school principals can be predicted through psychological flexibility, and in light of the results, a set of suggestions and recommendations were presented.
