The study aimed at identifying of psychological alienation among Palestinian university students in the Gaza governorates and its relation to psychological needs in the light of each of the following variables: type of student, type of college, level of study, type of university.

The study sample consisted of (1187) students from Palestinian universities, (5%) of the original study population of the second and fourth levels of the different faculties in the following universities (Al-Azhar, Islamic, Al-Aqsa).

The researcher also used a psychometric measure to measure the psychological needs of Eman El-Sayed University of Mansoura.

He then conducted a survey on the Palestinian environment.

The researcher then selected a random sample of(54) The researcher used the following statistical methods to achieve the study hypotheses: Frequency and percentage of the psychological alienation and psychological needs, Test test to show differences between The method of analyzing the binary and trigonometric variation to show the effect of the interaction between the study variables, the Pearson correlation coefficient to demonstrate the accuracy of the internal consistency of the scale, the Alpha Kronbach coefficient and the Corder Richardson equation to show the stability of the scale.

The study found the following results: •The percentage of psychological needs was also average (71.9%).

The highest needs were the first ranks of the dimensions of the scale.

In the first place, the need for ambition was followed by the need for self-realization and then the need for social interaction.

•The study also revealed a statistically significant correlation between the total degree of psychological alienation and the total degree of psychological needs in the study sample.

•The study showed that there was statistically significant relationship between the loss of meaning and the total degree of psychological needs, as well as between non-adherence to standards and the need for love, the need for aggression, the need for self-realization and the need for social interaction.

A relational relationship is statistically significant after the feeling of helplessness and the need for love, the need for control, the need for aggression, the need for self-realization, the need for social interaction, and the need for belonging.

•The study showed that there were statistically significant differences between transients and low psychological alienation in their grades on psychological needs.

The study revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the interaction between psychological alienation (high - low) and the type of student (male - female) on psychological needs in the study sample.

•There were no statistically significant differences between the psychological alienation (low - high) and the type of college (science - literature) on the psychological needs of the study sample.

•There were no statistically significant differences in the interaction between psychological alienation (low-high) and educational level (second-fourth) on psychological needs in the study sample.

•There were no statistically significant differences in the interaction between psychological alienation (low-high) and the type of university (Azhar, Islamic, Al-Aqsa) on psychological needs in the study sample.
