Objective of the study: This study aims at revealing the effectiveness of an educational program based on projects for developing the productive habits of the mind among secondary school students in Gaza governorates.

Study tool: The researcher used the productive habits of the mind scale and observation card for the productive habits of the mind.

Study sample: The sample of the study was selected from the 11th grade students from Al-Taqwa Secondary School for Boys in West Gaza Educational Region.

Research Methodology: The researcher used the descriptive and experimental method, because of their relevance to achieve the study objectives The most important findings of the study: 1.

There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the postapplication of the productive habits of the mind scale in favor of the experimental group.

There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.01) in the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre- and post-application of the mind productive habits scale in favor of the experimental group.

There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.01) in the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post application of the observation card of the productive habits of the mind in favor of the experimental group.

There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.01) in the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre- and post-application of the observation card of the productive habits of the mind in favor of the experimental group.

5.

The project-based program achieved more than 1.2 effectiveness based on Black's gain coefficient in developing productive habits of mind among secondary school students in Palestine.

The most important recommendations of the study 1.

There is a need to use the project-based educational program, for the science curricula, that includes applications and projects related to the information taught to students.

2 - Conducting of workshops to train teachers of science on project-based teaching because the findings of the current study and studies contained therein indicate the positive impact of project-based learning in increasing educational achievement and the development of many different learning outcomes.

3 – Paying attention to the teaching and development of skills of the productive habits of the mind.
