This study aims at identifying the relationship between university life satisfaction and personal competence among deaf students at the Islamic University.

To achieve the study objectives, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach.

The study sample consisted of (65) deaf students, and the researcher used two tools to conduct this study: a scale of university life satisfaction and personal competence scale, both were prepared by the researcher.

The most important findings of the study : 1- The study found that the satisfaction of deaf students with university life had a relative weight of 81.9%.

2- The study found that the level of personal competence of deaf students had a relative weight of 80.2%.

3- There is a statistically significant direct relationship between satisfaction with university life and the personal competence of deaf students.

4- There were statistically significant differences in satisfaction with university life attributed to (gender, age, economic level, academic level) variables, while there were no differences in satisfaction with university life attributed to (social status, cause of disability, degree of disability, presence of deaf brothers) variables.

5- There were statistically significant differences in the level of personal competence attributed to (age, economic level, reason for disability) variables, while there were no differences in the level of personal competence attributed to (gender, marital status, degree of disability, GPA, and the presence of death brothers) variables.

The most important recommendations of the study : The study recommended working on providing more capabilities and helpful services for people with hearing disabilities in the university environment to increase their level of adaptation and integration in it.

Educational materials for the deaf should be different from others, or should be explained in different ways that suit their level of understanding.

Finally, providing training and qualification programs for workers and academics in sign language and in dealing with deaf students.
