الملخص الإنجليزي

Objective of the study : The study aimed to identify the effect of employing the 7Es strategy in developing grammatical skills and some lateral thinking skills among tenth grade students.

Study tools : grammar skills test, lateral thinking skills test.

Study Sample: The study sample consisted of (46) female students from the tenth-grade primary school at Dar_ Al Arqam Secondary School for Girls.

Study methodology : The study relied on the quasi-experimental approach, as it is appropriate to achieve the goals of the study.

The most important findings of the study : 1.

There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the ranks of the experimental group and the control group scores in the post test of the grammar rules skills in favor of the experimental group.

2.

There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the ranks of the experimental group and the control group scores in the post test of lateral thinking skills in favor of the experimental group.

The most important recommendations : 1- The necessity of paying attention to using the 7Es strategy as an introduction to teaching Arabic language at all educational levels.

2- Encouraging teachers to employ the 7Es strategy in the educational process as one of the methods that increases the motivation of learning.

3- Attention to developing lateral thinking skills when planning the Arabic language course, preparing appropriate strategies for that, and training in it 4- Preparing proposed programs to train Arabic language teachers at the secondary level on how to use the 7Es strategy in teaching Arabic at the secondary level
