The study aims mainly at urging Saudi academic libraries to use The Ibeacon technology in their buildings.

The stud;y used the descriptive survey method by used the interview tool and the questionnaire tool to collect the data.

The stud;y sample consisted of 570 users and 66 employees male and Female.

The most important results of the stud;y were: The percentage of those who did not benefit from the training programs offered by the library for training in how to use them and benefit from their services 76.3% of the sample study while 23.7% of those programs benefited.

The most common problem facing users is the difficulty of identifying sources and materials that are newly arrived at the library.

The most common problem for employees is to receive many asked general questions daily.

The stud;y reached suggested perception for use of IBeacon technology in Saudi academic libraries.

The stud;y recommended improving and developing the library instruction services offered in Saudi academic libraries with the iBeacon technology.
