The current research aims to identify the art of dialogue in achieving peaceful coexistence in the light of the discourse data in Nahj al-Balaghah.

The paths of research have been determined in discussing the foundations of peaceful coexistence and the rules for achieving community security; Because they represent important pillars in establishing the general balances of society, by reading the approach of the Commander of the Faithful Ali (peace be upon him) in achieving peaceful coexistence through the means of dialogue and persuasion, and his approach had important data in the history of its depth; Because he was founded to build a society that does not target each other at the expense of colour, gender or creed, and his approach was an application of the Quranic rule that requires piety to be the balance of differentiation.

On the basis of that, we will discuss in this research the foundations adopted by the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in achieving peaceful coexistence and community security.
