The research is an attempt to read the twentieth revolution in Iraq, and narratives that it had taken with over the past hundred years, reading them according to the theories and methods of sociology of culture.

the research will be extensive for the purpose of achieving the targets, as the paper will contain, in addition to the research summary, and a list of margins and references, five chapters: the first of them, which is entitled (the general framework of the research), includes two sections: the first of which contains the elements of the research: (the research problem, objectives, importance, and study hypotheses).

the second topic will be concerned with defining the most important concepts and scientific terms that will be mentioned in the research, and the researcher finds the need to introduce the reader to them.

as for the second chapter, which will have a main title: (a socio-cultural reading in the structure of Iraqi society on the eve of the twentieth revolution), it will be a general reading in the patterns of the Iraqi social structure (political, economic, cultural, and kinship) on the eve of the twentieth revolution, according to the functional structural theory.

in the third chapter, the various points of view that were read will be reviewed, explaining the revolution and determining its direct and indirect causes.

the fourth chapter will be titled: (samples of narratives of the twentieth revolution), through which selected samples of Iraqi, Arab, and foreign narratives will be examined, which were deal with the events and facts of the revolution, co-recorded by officers, leaders, rulers, tribal sheikhs, clerics, and researchers, scholars, and historians throughout the last century (1920-2020), as these studies will be divided and categorized according to the historical periods in which they appeared, and the national, regional and global conditions in which they were written; the researcher has his story about the revolution; while the fifth chapter will bear a main title: (reading the revolution according to the sociology of the revolution), this last chapter is the summary that the researcher believes represents the reading of this controversial revolution, a scientific and impartial reading as much as possible, free from whims and emotions as much as possible.
