It is no secret that the imamate is one of the importantissues on which the leadership of Muslims and the legislativeand political authority is built after the Messenger of God, may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

Therefore, this research sheds light on the central issue ofthe Imamate in two important verses on which the public andprivate sons of the Ahl al-Bayt school and the followers ofthe Caliphs school relied in proving their claims in this issue.

We have chosen the most important interpretations of thetwo groups to make a comparison between them in order toknow the significance of the two verses on the centrality of theImamate with an interpretive view.

An analytical comparisonbetween two important interpretations of two sciences fromthe media of the Islamic nation are Al-Tabataba'i and Al-Razi.
