The present study aimed to demonstrate the impact of applying green sustainability approach on Jordanian Army Forces (JAF) ; specifically to measure the degree of the effect of green production on the environmental performance of the Jordanian armed forces.

in addition, it also aimed to show the variations and differences in the degree of adoption for the green sustainabitity practices from the respondents’ viewpoints according to their demographic and practical data.

to achieve these objectives an analytical descriptive approach was used by using the questionnaire as data collection tool.

scales have been developed to measure green sustainability practices and environmental performance, then extracting the validity and reliability coefficients for the study scales, the questionnaires were distributed to a convenience sample consisted of (186) officers in the Jordanian armed forces.

the study used the appropriate statistical tests within the SPSS software.

the results showed that there was a statistical significant effect at the level of significance for the green sustainability practices presented by green production on the environmental performance at the Jordanian armed forces.

furthermore, the results showed that there wasn't any disparity in the degree of adopting green sustainability practices from the participants’ viewpoint according to the difference in their military rank ; educational qualification ; and job titles.
