On 15/7/ 2020, in the autumn season, a field experiment was carried out to study the effect of laser scraper and some plowing systems on some machine unit indicators in the Saad River region.

Nahr Saad area is located 27 km to the north from the center of Maysan governorate, and 340 km to the south of the capital, Baghdad.

In this experiment two factors were used, the first is the laser scraper leveling equipment, graders and leveling implement and the second factor are the tillage systems using the mold board plow, the chisel and the no-till.

The following indicators studied were (Fuel Consumption, Slippage, Soil Deep Volume, and Field Efficiency).

The nested system in randomized complete blocks (RCBD) was used with three replicates.

Also, the least significant difference under probability (LSD = 0.05) was used to compare the means of the coefficients.

The results indicated the following: 1.

for the levelling systems, it recorded a significant superiority of the grader over the rest of the used systems in the terms of two characteristics were fuel consumption and percentage of slip (58.70 liters.

ha-1, 5.71% , respectively), while there was no significant differences were recorded between the levelling systems in the two characteristics which were the Soil Deep Volume and Field Efficiency.2.

As for the tillage systems, the mold board plow exceeded the chisel plow in terms of fuel consumption (66.35 L.
