Information systems are one of the most prominent admin¬istrative applications associated with the information revolution and modern technology, which some universities face problems in its application, especially Yemeni universities.

From this stand¬point, we pose the following main problem: What is the impact of information systems on improving academic performance in Ye¬meni private universities? The following sub-questions are derived from it: - What is the ef¬fect of (accuracy, appropriateness, appropriate timing, and suffi¬cient quantity) of information on academic performance? The Research aimed to Recognizing the impact of information sys¬tems on academic performance by applying to Yemeni private universities, and the research gained its importance from the im¬portance of the two variables being essential to the success of any university.

The academic performance and its effectiveness is a sys¬tem based on improving the information necessary to improve the work environment within the university, and the researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach to achieve the objectives of the research, and the study community included all users of in¬formation systems in the (6) private Yemeni universities, and for the purpose of research A questionnaire was designed and distrib¬uted to a random sample, and using the SPSS statistical program, the level of information systems and academic performance was measured, and the research reached the following results: There is an impact of information systems on academic performance in Yemeni private universities.

The level of availability of informa¬tion systems specifications is large, and the two dimensions of in¬formation accuracy and appropriateness of information are high.
