The study aims to clarify the opinions of each of the jurists and doctors on the subject of brain death, through the caveats and criteria set by them for the introduction of brain death, which came through their definition of brain death and its signs, conditions and standards indicating it, as the subject of brain death was taken Scientific interest, scientific symposia were held for it, and the symposia presented juristic and medical papers in which it outlined the caveats, standards and controls related to brain death, and this research comes within the framework of the interest of the Sudanese Islamic Fiqh Academy on the subject of brain death, for which a symposium was called for by specialists from doctors from within and Outside Sudan besides the members of the Islamic Fiqh Academy under the umbrella of the Natural and Applied Sciences Department of the Academy to study and extrapolate what was written on this topic and then to issue a fatwa on it 2019 Khartoum, especially since brain death began to show negative medical, social and economic aspects to it, especially cases of the hopeless or those that do not respond to treatment, as the doctors who asked the Fiqh Academy see the matter from the legal point of view.
